For the first project of this class, we were required to work in a group. I was teamed up with Risyad, Edlyn, Sabrina and Min Wei. As the title above, we were given a week to design an infographic upon our selected music genre, soft rock.
Before we started with the infographic board, all of the group members did an in-depth research to get a better understanding about the chosen genre. In general, soft rock is a genre that mostly focused on the lyrics (as it has to be meaningful yet full with emotions) and the subtle melody. This particular genre de-emphasized the intense of electric guitar lines and harsh vocalising.
Each one of us had different task on producing the infographic board. For myself, I was in charged of 1/3 of the cutouts, the typography and the arrangement of the board while others did the rest. It was my first time working with all of my teammates but I am thankful to have them because without their hard work and contributions, the final product won't look as it is now - thank you and well done, guys!
